Giving Back

Something the owners feel very strongly about in their journey as small business owners in the heart of the downtown, is giving back to their community. To date, The Draft House has donated over $3500 to various organizations in our county. These donations stem from the events we hold and will hopefully continue to grow as the years go on. They believe in giving back to a community that has given so many opportunities to them. 

Expanding Minds

The Hellinger’s have recently taken a craft beer brew course offered through Cornell University in hopes to not only expand their knowledge, and to extend that knowledge to their staff, but have hopes of brewing their own beers in the years to come.

Beer: Velvet Fog is a NEIPA from Meier’s Creek Brewing in Cazenovia, N.Y.

Cocktail: Parisian Rose- Dorothy Parker Rose gin, cardamom syrup, lemon, and topped with club.

Beer: Trippy Tree is a raspberry, tangerine, and marshmallow sour from Beer Tree Brew Co. in Port Crane, N.Y.

Cocktail: Blueberry Basil Cooler- Tanqueray Gin, freshly muddled basil, blueberries and ginger, simple syrup and topped with club soda.

Beer: Deer Slayer is a Blonde Ale from Contra Brewing in Cooperstown, NY  

Cocktail: Empress on South State Street- Empress 1908 Gin, fresh mint, and simple syrup.

Personal Event Rental

The bar will be shut down completely to the general public allowing you to host a private event. Bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, company parties, the list is endless!
